  • “We had a great visit from our newest teammate, Daynin Dashefsky. She was able to attend a few classes at Impact HQ and soak up our approach while sharing her Jiu-Jitsu. Her Think Jiu-Jitsu  seminar was inventive, well presented and fun for all! She offered a fresh perspective on Jiu Jitsu. I was even able to use 2 of her "favorite" moves this week. I guess it's our turn to visit Daynin in Hawaii; who's in?”

  • "Daynin is successful in whatever she puts her heart into. She is the only female owner of a BJJ  academy in Hawaii and has over 185 students after only being in operation for almost 3 years. Her students love her and her “BJJ for Life” philosophy. With her creative talent, she has put together a game which is a new approach to learning Jiu-Jitsu. After taking her seminar where she presented her game, I was amazed how much it works your brain for transitioning from move to move to submission.  Not only did we learn a different way of thinking about Jiu-Jitsu, but we had FUN as well, not to mention a little bit of competition too :).  I highly recommend her game and seminar."

  • "The Think Jiu-Jitsu game was based on your Jiu Jitsu knowledge both kinetically and logically. It will be a great mental challenge and fun game for your way of thinking about Jiu Jitsu for any belt level.  This game even challenged my brown and black belts to think and process Jiu-Jitsu in ways I’ve never seen or experienced.  I would definitely encourage any BJJ school to use this game as a  teaching tool."

  • “I'm so glad I attended your seminar Daynin Dashefsky! Thank you so much for sharing your philosophy and unique approach to BJJ! All I can say is WOW! It was such a treat to listen, understand, and take away the unique BJJ life and core lessons you taught. I enjoyed what I experienced and found the  content very different from other seminars. The seminar explained the belt system quite dynamically by beginning with white belts as learning words to paragraphs and then stories/novels as black belts. Understanding and how to teach BJJ by the processes of take down, transition, position, and submission... Simply brilliant!  I'm honored to have learned this way of thinking about BJJ... It has changed the way I teach my  curriculum and how I explain Jiu-Jitsu and the techniques to my students. Your seminar rocked!!”

  • "Daynin gave a seminar at my school and I had brand new white belts to my veteran black belt students and we all learned a lot!  Her unique presentation is not the normal BJJ seminar but it is much better. The way she makes you think with challenges gives you a better retention and fun at the same time! This is a seminar that you must have all your students attend; beginner, intermediate and advanced!  Can't wait to have her come out again.”
